Médiamétrie unveiled on Thursday, June 15, the results of television and radio audiences in Cameroon for the period of March 12 to May 22, 2017. The observation of French society focused on the cities of Yaoundé, Douala, Bamenda And Bafoussam. It shows that 3.1 million people spent an average of 4 hours 43 minutes each day in front of their screen.
According to ranking, the results obtained give the first place to the Cameroon radio and television (Crtv) before Canal2 international and Novelas TV. The public channel has seen a number of viewers between 1 and 3 million.
The group composed of Trace Africa, France 24, TF1 and Equinoxe comes in second place with a number of viewers ranging from 400,000 to 1 million.
The total number of people listening to the radio in Yaoundé, Douala, Bafoussam and Bamenda amounts to 2.2 million, according to Médiamétrie. This makes ” an average of 58.6% of the population listening to the radio every day for an average of 2 hours and 45 minutes per day and per listener, ” the company said
