Zinedine Zidane has declared Cristiano Ronaldo is “so good he could play anywhere” after further questions over his role in his Real Madrid lineup.
Much has been made in recent weeks of how the Portuguese superstar continues to adapt his game, continuing his transformation from a goalscoring winger into a central striker.
The 32-year-old showed his class with five of Los Blancos’ six goals against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final and is set to return to the Real Madrid lineup for the visit of Valencia on Saturday night.
Zidane continues to be asked about Ronaldo’s role within the side, more so after a side without the ‘BBC’ – Benzema, Bale and Cristiano – put six past Deportivo at the Riazor in midweek.
Yet Zidane has no qualms about the club’s all-time record scorer to do the business – no matter where he’s asked to play.
