CAN2017: Franko to perform among other guest stars at the opening ceremony of the CAN

Its a three day count down to the African cup of nations. Earlier this week Karawa Diary brought to you the CAN 2017 song titled L’Afrique Au Gabon (watch here). Among the artists that stared in this song is Cameroon’s Magasco of Empire Record.

After Magasco who sang the official anthem of the CAN 2017 “Africa in Gabon” in collaboration with other great names of African music, we now have the rapper and Gold Record winner of Cameroon Franko who will grace the stage at the opening ceremony on the 14th of January.  Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz and the Congolese singers Mohombi and Lumino will be some of the artists to join in at the opening ceremony. It is also remuoured that Nigeria’s Flavour joins the team of performing artists on the 14th.

Franko is the author of the famous song titled “Coller la petite”, which was awarded the precious Gold Record award in France in December 2016. A historical trophy in the midst of urban rap and Cameroonian music in general. The revolution is in progress and the growth of Cameroon’s Music Industry cannot be over emphasized.
